Don’t compare yourself to others. Everyone has a different anatomy. Some people can do the splits in a month, while others need six months. The main thing is progress, not the result. Today you leaned 5 cm closer – that’s a victory.

Do it regularly. It’s better to do 10 minutes every day than an hour once a week. You can do stretching in the morning, before bed, or after work. Associate it with a habit: after brushing your teeth, before watching a TV series.

Use auxiliary tools: a mat, a block, a belt. They help you maintain balance and deepen poses safely. For example, in the downward dog pose, you can bend your knees if your calves are tense.

Stretching is not only physical, but also a meditation for the body. When you focus on sensations, you switch off from thoughts, stress, anxiety. This is a moment of true presence.

And remember: flexibility is freedom of movement. The more mobile your body is, the more you can do in life. And this is available to everyone – regardless of age, experience and body shape.
