A small kitchen is a challenge, but with the right solutions it can be comfortable and stylish. First, make the most of vertical space. Install shelves up to the ceiling, use magnetic knife rails, hooks on the walls and cabinet doors. This will free up the work surface and eliminate chaos.

The color scheme plays a key role. Choose light colors – white, beige, light gray, pastel shades. They visually expand the space. Add accents through an apron or textiles, but do not overload. Reflections also help – mirrored facades, glossy surfaces, glass doors.
The work surface is sacred. Do not clutter it. Store frequently used things in drawers or organizers. Put large appliances (microwave, toaster) in cabinets with lifting mechanisms or use folding tables. If possible, take the equipment to another room.
Choose multifunctional furniture. For example, a table with drawers, a bar counter instead of a dining table, chairs that can be pushed under the table. Wheels on furniture are also a plus: you can quickly rearrange it.
Organize storage areas: for dishes, spices, food, cleaning products. Use transparent containers with labels – this makes it easier to find and control supplies. Store spices on rotating carousels or in pull-out drawers.
There is often a mess under the sink. Install organizers on the door – for sponges, cleaning products, rags. Use nets, hooks, pull-out shelves. This will turn a “black hole” into useful space.
